"I want to share some positive feedback with you. I performed last Wednesday at Town Tavern. Tim did a good job hosting, and Jack too. I'm relatively new to the stand-up scene but I was truly floored with Wednesday's line up. This is the first show I've been a part of that was truly diverse (not just race/gender). There were eight female comics (amazing!), at least four POC comics, and other comics from different backgrounds. It was really awesome and I really appreciated seeing that and being a part of it. The 10 people I brought as audience members commented on this and were really excited about the diverse lineup of comics. Seriously, great job! Looking forward to more shows like this that truly represent. all comics in DC. Thank you!" - New DC Comic
"I really enjoy Capital Laughs comedy shows! I've been to a bunch of them! Its good to go my girlfriends, good for a date, with work friends, I've even brought my mom! The comics are always funny, the show is well ran, shows are free and has good drink specials."
"What an amazing and great show. I'm so glad I took a date here. Such a great way to support local arts and seem indy and cool. lol. I'm bringing my coworkers (well the cool ones) next time. Deffly recommend."
"The Tuesday show at Bier Baron is awesome. It's at this old historic hotel near Dupont, and they have an upstairs show room above the downstairs bar. The bar has a crazy good selection of beers, and they had some really awesome $2 beer specials. The food is on point too. The show was advertised as an open mic, but these guys were good. There were probably 15 comics, and I laughed at 13 of them--not bad for a free show. I'll come back."
"Stopped in for a free comedy show with Capital Laughs in Adams Morgan - and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the comedians were. Good beers on draft and something different for me and my girlfriend to do. Would totally go back to another show." "Caught a great show at Town Tavern when I was stopping into DC for a night. Norman Q provided a brilliant set. As a fellow Brit, I was surprised at quite how well received the comedy was..."
